Be Inspired. Feel Joy.
About The BoHo
The BoHo was born from both loss and hope.
In 2021, Jon Troutt purchased a 1950s home on Kings Highway and Bridge Avenue in Murfreesboro. He saw great potential in the area with his daughter at McFadden School right next door and a church home in the Experience Christian Community just down the street. These two establishments were central to his purpose and serve as solid anchors of hope for the bright future of this historical community.
Following the loss of his beautiful wife to a 6 year cancer battle in 2023, Jon and his daughter found healing through Faith, community, and renewed purpose. “Bon Air” was born. Named after the family farm where he grew up, Bon Air is growing into a family of real estate companies focused on the Development and Building of inspired, story-driven projects.
The quaint home on Kings Highway sparked something bigger. Drawn to its unbeatable location next to the Historic Bottoms, Jon and his team envisioned "The BoHo"—short for the Bottoms Housing District. The BoHo celebrates this historic neighborhood while reimagining its future. Come dream with us about the future of The BoHo and experience it coming to life.

Rooted in laid-back sophistication and Lowcountry grace, Doris captures the quiet beauty of relaxed living. Every space feels intentional — a blend of color, texture, and light that tells a story of warmth, connection, and easy comfort.
Future Vision
The vision for the BoHo is a walkable, vibrant district filled with beautiful homes, neighborhood shops, and places where people can connect. At Bon Air Build, the Mission is simple: Lead with Design to Create Beautiful Spaces that Inspire and Bring Joy.
Two beautiful new homes have been built on the corner of Kings and Bridge, named after the original Homeowners, Doris and Harvey Newman. Designed by Avek Design Co., the homes blend modern touches with nostalgic nods to the history of the community, creating the cornerstone to this emerging neighborhood and bringing the BoHo vision to life.
The future of The BoHo is just beginning—and you're invited to be part of it.
